Andrea Rees, LMSW

Andrea Rees is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker. She received her Bachelor’s Degree at Idaho State University and her Master's of Social Work from University of Denver. Andrea has extensive experience working in the medical social work field. She enjoys helping others navigate the mental health side of chronic health conditions. Andrea believes that good health is not just a medical issue. Our minds need nurturing too. She enjoys helping families blend and build a happy life. Andrea has personal experience with blended families and loves to assist in this complex situation. Her graduate program specialized in trauma and mental health, which is helpful in a counseling setting. Andrea is experienced in using interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Andrea believes that healing and finding joy can make a beautiful life.
