Andrea Rees is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She received her Bachelor’s Degree at Idaho State University and her Master of Social Work from University of Denver. Her graduate program specialized in trauma and mental health. Andrea is passionate about helping others navigate complex issues such as blending families, working through substance misuse concerns and chronic health conditions. She honestly loves to problem solve with patients to increase quality of life.
Andrea has extensive experience working in the medical social work field. Andrea believes that good health is not just a medical issue. Our minds need nurturing too. She is also skilled at helping families navigate the challenges of blending families and helping them build and create a joyful life. Andrea has personal experience with blended families and loves to assist in this complex situation. Andrea is experienced in using interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Andrea believes that discovering joy and healing can lead to a beautiful life.
