BayLee Sorenson, LMSW
BayLee is passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges. She believes every individual has unique strengths and works collaboratively with clients to build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
For the past two years, BayLee has worked as an elementary school counselor, supporting children and families in developing emotional regulation, social skills, healthy communication, and confidence. This experience deepened her passion for working with children and adolescents and reinforced her belief that parents and caregivers play an essential role in a child’s growth and healing. She values partnering with families to help children build confidence, develop lifelong coping skills, and thrive at home, at school, and in their relationships. BayLee is also CANS (Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths) certified in Idaho, providing additional training in understanding and supporting the unique needs of children and adolescents.
While BayLee enjoys working with clients of all ages, she also has experience supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and parenting challenges. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and strengths-based interventions to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs.
BayLee understands that starting therapy can feel overwhelming and strives to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients can discover their strengths, build resilience, and move toward a healthier and happier self.
Outside of the office, BayLee enjoys reading, doing anything outdoors, sun or snow, and being a wife and mom.
