Carly is a warm and companionate counselor with a focus on a strength-based approach. Carly aims to unlock the dormant potential within individuals and couple relationships to facilitate healing. Carly specializes in working couples using Gottman Method Couples Therapy to improve communication and guide them towards reconnection and fulfillment in their relationship. Carly also specializes in trauma therapy and is trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
In her practice, Carly addresses a range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, faith transitions, challenges in relationships, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She tailors her therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client and couple, drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy and EMDR. By fostering a safe and non-judgmental environment, Carly encourages individuals and couples to engage in self-discovery by exploring beliefs about themselves and healing their inner wounds.
Outside of her professional life Carly enjoys traveling with her husband and growing and nurturing her plants.
